Price is only a number

Price is only a number

I heard a saying somewhere… “Money can’t buy you love, but it can buy you sneakers” and I’m feeling a little happier to know that other people believe in what I do.

As I do every year, I start making my Christmas list in September to give myself the time to get myself the things on the list. It’s a self perseverance tactic, and I'm never disappointed.  I stumbled on 2021 sneakers and of course I had to find the most exorbitant priced ones and I want them all on my list.

Let me know what you think of my 2021 Christmas wish list, and how we can sway Mr.Reshoevn8r to get them for me.

I’m ordering these in price from most affordable to...well a lot. The Nike Air Max 97 Swarovski Polar Blue has a certain spot in my heart that won’t be filled until they’re on my feet. Air Max celebrated the models 20th anniversary in 2018 and Swarovski continued its Nike collaborations this year and I couldn’t be more excited. These sneakers have over 55,000 crystal fragments on them and will run about $400 retail. These sneakers sold out almost immediately on the SNKRS app.

Nike released the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Street Hawker’ with an original retail price of $110. Reshoevn8r was recently at Sneakercon and saw these sneakers in the $600 range. This colorful dunk, and the sleep silver swoosh make it a go to sneaker when you want to be noticed. What I love most about this sneaker… the right shoe is completely different than the left. I always felt bad for never having matching socks growing up, now they’re creating shoes that don’t match and I’m all about it.

Alright alright.. You caught me. I have a thing for WILD Nikes. The Nike SB Dumb Low ‘What the P-Rod’ caught my attention really quick becuase of the colorful toe box, vine stitching and dotted heel. The ‘What if’ series by Nike combines the best selling sneakers in that collection and merges them into one sneaker. This sneaker dropped for $150 but you won’t catch that price anywhere on the retail market. If you want this sneaker you’re in the $800 range.

Here is where my wishlist gets a little different, and I’m not sure my credit card can handle it.

Trophy Room X Air Jordan 1. Do I need to say anything else about this iconic sneaker?

This sneaker had so much controversy around it… and maybe some backdoor sneakers from the 1985 all star game… but we’re here for the drama. This line only dropped with about 12,000 pairs TOTAL (insert crying face here…) Marcus Jordan will continue to put out dope kicks, hopefully we can cop one of those pairs. I’m not sure the $2900 price tag has hooked me, but hey… a wish list is a wish list.
